Transform an established salon with a smarter premium setup
Glow Tanning & Beauty marked our second major salon upgrade with the owners, this time as part of a complete rebrand and refurbishment of the business.
The salon originally operated with six sunbeds. Rather than replacing like for like, the owners wanted to restructure the tanning area around fewer, higher quality machines and create a more premium experience throughout.
Working together, the strategy was to reduce the setup from six sunbeds to four carefully selected premium units. Glow part exchanged four of its existing sunbeds, including an Ergoline Sunrise, Ergoline Evolution 600, Ergoline Excellence 800 and Ergoline Prestige 1100, and invested in two new additions: a megaSun P9S and megaSun 7800 Alpha HybridSun.
Glow already owned quality commercial equipment, including an Ergoline Prestige 1400. Instead of unnecessarily replacing machines that still had plenty to offer, we looked at how they could become part of the salon's new identity.
J Solutions carried out an extensive clean and refurbishment of the retained sunbeds, including preparation and repainting of external components. Once rebuilt and reassembled, the transformation was remarkable, giving the machines a completely refreshed appearance that complemented the newly refurbished salon.
The objective wasn't to have the highest possible number of sunbeds. It was to create a stronger four bed lineup where every room offered a high quality tanning experience. By combining new flagship megaSun equipment with professionally refurbished premium machines, Glow was able to completely reposition its tanning offering without replacing everything unnecessarily.
